Happy Birthday, Mika and Ryan.
Today, August 8, is International Cat Day—and also the fifth birthday of Mika, our tabby girl, and Ryan, her brother.
This photograph was taken not long after they came into our home. Back then, they were almost always together. Sometimes, even their movements seemed perfectly synchronized.
Five years have passed quietly since then.
