The typhoon has passed.

At 3:00 AM
The typhoon had passed, but a light rain and wind persisted.
Every now and then, a sudden gust would blow through, bringing heavier rain with it.
In the end, I lost my umbrella, and the day came to a close.

There are no crowds, no nightlife, and almost no traffic. Just empty streets, distant sounds, and the quiet atmosphere of Japan in the hours before dawn.

This is another side of Japan — far from the bright streets of Tokyo and the country’s major tourist destinations.

No narration. No music.
Just the real sounds and atmosphere of a Japanese town at 3:00 AM, after the typhoon has passed.

If you’ve ever wondered what an ordinary regional city in Japan feels like while almost everyone is asleep, this walk is for you.
