7月の終わりに奈良の 野迫川村に行ってまいりました。
平地では酷暑が続く日々でしたが、野迫川村は思っていたよりも涼しく、
快適に過ごすことが出来ました。
クーラーを使わずに過ごした、野迫川村での2日間は、
どこか秋の気配が漂い、昔の盆過ぎに感じた、
少し寂しくも心地よい空気がありまして、
昭和生まれの私は、懐かしい夏の終わりを思い出してしまいました。
At the end of July, I traveled to Nosegawa Village in Nara.
While the summer heat was intense in the lowlands, Nosegawa was much cooler than I had expected, making for a surprisingly comfortable stay.
During my two days there, I didn’t need to use air conditioning at all.
There was already a faint hint of autumn in the air, reminding me of those quiet days after the Obon holidays long ago—a time when summer slowly began to fade, leaving behind a gentle sense of loneliness and nostalgia.
Having grown up in the Showa era, those two days brought back memories of the summers of my childhood, and that familiar feeling of summer quietly coming to an end.
