4K Japan Walk Hokkaido Sapporo suburban EXTREME BLIZZARD 80 Minutes of Whiteout Survival猛吹雪の北海道札幌郊外を歩く
This video captures the raw power of a massive blizzard that hit Sapporo, in the early morning of February 19, 2026. Starting at 5:25 AM in total darkness, I walked through the buried streets as the visibility dropped to near zero.
At a temperature of -1.4°C (29.5°F), the powdery snow was violently whipped by the wind, creating an intense whiteout that completely erased the landscape. No music, no talking—only the sound of the howling wind and the struggle of navigating through the deep, drifting snow. This is the authentic, unvarnished winter of Hokkaido.
